Wheelchair-Bound Man Walks Across The Stage At Graduation 01:02

Graduating from college is a major accomplishment on its own, but Florida International University student Aldo Amenta went above and beyond. In 2015, Amenta broke his neck after diving into the shallow end of a swimming pool, and doctors soon after declared him a quadriplegic, ABC News reports. His entire life changed after the devastating accident, and it was hard for him to continue with his schooling. Still, Amenta persisted and even pulled off an amazing feat at his recent graduation ceremony. With the use of a special exoskeleton, he was able to walk across the stage to receive his diploma.
